Thermal Unit: Stainless steel Upper chamber for paraffin moulds and Lower basin for liquid paraffin ( to store samples from tissue processor) are heated and regulated separately. The stainless steel basin is removable in order to facilitate cleaning operations. Cooling Plate: The cooling plate can be used either for embedding and also during microtome cutting operation. The cooling plate has a new frame all around the stainless steel surface which improve cooling performances and prevents the dropping of water around the instrument.
